New Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer will hit on Monday, January 12

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

There are a lot of kickass films coming out in 2015 and one of the absolute most-anticipated AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, the sequel to 2012's THE AVENGERS and next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Two. We've already seen one trailer, which left most folks beyond jazzed for the next iteration of Joss Whedon's superhero team flick. Now, comes word of when we'll see the next trailer for the film, which is set to debut on Monday, January 12th during the College Football Playoff National Championship on ESPN at 8 pm EST. How's that for an early New Years gift, eh?

Returning members like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) are joined by newcomers Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and The Vision (Paul Bettany) who will battle the new threat of Ultron (James Spader). For those that love both the MCU, Avengers, or even just a handful of the character, this flick is sure to be one at the top of everyone's must-see list for 2015 (it's tops for me, personally).

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens on May 1, 2015.
