arrownewsOne week after Halloween this year comes Richard Kelly’s THE BOX, starring Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, and Frank Langella. So far, everything I’ve seen, everything I’ve heard, everything about THE BOX is sounding f*cking kick-ass, and I hope it lives up to the hype. Kelly rocked us with DONNIE DARKO, but not so much with SOUTHLAND TALES, so THE BOX… should be interesting.
A new French poster for THE BOX landed online (as well as a few new pics) and not only do you get one Cameron Diaz on the poster–but you get two! Can’t say that I dig this more than the previous BOX posters… that said, it ain’t bad, and it’s going for a similar theme, which is great. There’s also a better shot of the actual box in question (or rather, the giant fate-deciding button in the box), which hasn’t seen the light of day on any of the previous posters, so good shit on that account.
In short, THE BOX is about a small wooden box arrives on the doorstep of a married couple, who open it and become instantly wealthy. Little do they realize that opening the box also kills someone they do not know… Enjoy some new images from the flick below, and get ready for THE BOX in theaters everywhere November 6th.
