I've made my love of MST3K and the new cast (Jonah Ray, Baron Vaughn, Hampton Yount) before, and am excited to report an upcoming live show featuring the new cast! It'll be a nationwide tour called the "Watch Out For Snakes!" tour, named after a terribly dubbed line in the abysmal caveman-on-the-loose film EEGAH, that's thus become a recurring gag on the show.
On the tour they'll be re-riffing EEGAH with all new jokes, from the current writers of the new season. There'll also be a second movie that'll be premiered there, a mysterious sci-fi film that hasn't been seen on MST3k before. Besides that, Joel Hodgson (creator of MST3k) will be an emcee, while Jonah and the bots (including Gypsy, played by Rebecca Hanson) will be menaced by the new Mads (Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt) remotely. Sounds like a great time to me!
This sounds exciting! I've loved the Rifftrax live shows, and also got the chance to see Joel's old live riffing show Cinematic Titanic – both were great. And this technically won't be Jonah Rey's first foray into live-riffing, as he was on the MST3K reunion tour awhile back, where he acquitted himself well (save a flub or two). So I'm definitely getting a ticket once they reach Los Angeles!
