New change for Skin?

Sci-Fi Wire had a chance to talk with John Rosengrant, of Stan Winston Studios, about a few upcoming flicks, including Jim Isaac’s werewolf pic SKINWALKERS today, and while you’d think there’s only one way to change into a werewolf, think again!

“It’s not about the transformation, we’re trying to scale it back. We’re taking it back to the actor on this one, and do it more organically and realistically—we hope anyway. It’s going to be about the performance.”

After the CGI powerhouse of CURSED, the thought of animating another wolf transformation revolts the hell outta me- nice to see I’m not the only one here! Bravo!

SKINWALKERS is gearing up to shoot soon in Canada, which means the F/X guys have quite a plate of things they need to get done before hand- but as Rosengrant’s also the guy behind the awesome looking DOOM, I think we can all rest easier knowing that SKINWALKERS is going to be the werewolf movie we’ve all been waiting for!
