The film stars Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen, Dennis Haysbert, and Rob Riggle. The script was written by Tim Carter, who also produces alongside Tomas Harlan under their Contradiction Films banner. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (TRANSFORMERS) is the executive producer.
The synopsis:
The story follows Chase Carter (Jesse Metcalfe), an online reporter trying to make it big – but the pursuit of his career-defining story leads him into the heart of a zombie-infested warzone. The quarantined city quickly erupts into carnage and anarchy, becoming a deathtrap he’ll be lucky to escape. Chase joins forces with a desperate band of survivors. Crystal (Meghan Ory) is tough and independent, and may be the key to exposing the conspiracy behind the mysterious outbreak. But when she is bitten, their greatest asset may become their biggest threat.
