Call me a sucker for a good family movie (or a good Amy Adams movie) but I’m actually looking forward to seeing ENCHANTED. The kids are excited about it and for once, I’m excited about going with them (you hear that BEE MOVIE?!). For those who haven’t caught on to the film’s premise, an animated princess from the classic Disney universe is warped into live-action Manhattan. She meets a guy (Patrick Dempsey) who she might be falling in love with but her Prince Charming (James Marsden) and his evil mother (Susan Sarandon) have come looking for her. While it’s easy to focus on Adams, watch for a few scene stealing performances by Marsden. He was criminally underused in the X-MEN movies but this guy is really proving himself lately.
