I’m sure we’ve all seen something for or at least heard of the remake of THE EYE, starring Jessica Alba and directed by David Moreau and Xavier Palud.
The original 2003 film by the Pang Brothers (THE MESSENGERS, among others) was about a blind girl who gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again. However, she got more than what she bargained for when she realised she could even see ghosts. And some of these ghosts are down right unfriendly. So she embarks on a journey to find the origins of her cornea and to reveal the history of the previous dead owner …
The Hollywood remake train snatched it up, put their studio twist on it and it will be hitting theaters in February 2008, but today Rotten Tomatoes popped up with a new trailer for the film, which I must say is definitely a lil’ better than before. Go here to watch see it for yourself.
