Sorry, but I thought of that classic Alice Cooper song when I saw this new final one-sheet for Platinum Dunes’ FRIDAY THE 13th. I guess it’s okay, I’m not sure. (The tagline leaves something to be desired.) If nothing else, it makes me realize that this is indeed going to be a glossy Hollywood production not unlike their TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE remake. Us FRIDAY lovers, we like our Jason movies 80s style! I still wish they had hired Adam Green to direct this…
In case you’ve been living on the moon and banging space broads up there for about a year, FRIDAY THE 13th comes out in February. It has been lovingly put together by producer Michael Bay and director Marcus Nispel.
Also, keep an eye out for the new trailer, which will hit later on today.
Doesn’t hold a candle to this one, no doubt about that…
