New featurette takes us behind-the-scenes of Terminator: Dark Fate

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

After the disappointment of TERMINATOR: SALVATION and TERMINATOR: GENISYS, Paramount elected to bring series mastermind James Cameron back into the fold to craft the next chapter of the franchise. TERMINATOR: DARK FATE will be serving as a direct sequel to TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, and we got our first real look at the film this morning with the release of the first trailer. In addition to the triumphant return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, we were also introduced to our new leads in the form of Mackenzie David (Halt and Catch Fire), Natalia Reyes (BIRDS OF PASSAGE), Diego Boneta (ROCK OF AGES), and Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), who will be playing a new breed of Terminator who can split into two separate units.

If you're hungry for more TERMINATOR: DARK FATE on this fine Thursday, well, Paramount has also released a short featurette which offers up some nice behind-the-scenes footage as well as the cast and crew, including James Cameron, Tim Miller, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Linda Hamilton, expressing just how excited they are to bring the franchise back. TERMINATOR: DARK FATE will hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
