Ah, it’s refreshing to see some new giallo on the horizon, isn’t it? Director Federico Zampaglione has engineered some devilish sex and violence with his new horror number TULPA, and you can enjoy the freakiness below. Just know that this is definitely NSFW, with plenty of nudity, impalings, bloodshed and general gory carnage splattered across the screen. If you’re all alone, however, go nuts!

Starring Claudia Gerini, Michele Placido, Nuot Arquint, Michela Cescon and Ennio Tozzi, TULPA has the following synopsis:

A powerful stock broker frequents Tulpa, a sex club owned by a mysterious Tibetan guru. Unshackled from the pressure of her job she will do anything to attain a higher consciousness, but when her lovers are murdered in shocking ways, she tries to unmask the anonymous assassin with nightmare consequences.

Seems like the sort of thing Argento would have had a ball with back in his heyday. Flick will be hitting thebig screen at some point this year from Jinga films, so stay tuned.
