With GRINDHOUSE hitting theaters this year, and looking to blow everyone and everything away in it’s midst, it’s no surprise that GRINDHOUSE-like flicks are beginning to show their dirty little heads to cash-in on all the hoopla. And as most of these flicks look like a lot of fun, I say… bring em on!
Like Craig Luck’s DEATH WORLD, a flick aiming to hit production early this year. What’s it about? Luck gave us a brief skinny on the flick: think, Dawn of the Dead crossed with any exploitation flicks that you can think of! Yes, it’s brief… but holy crow, doesn’t that make your blood pump a little bit faster?
There’s not a whole lot on the flick right now, but there is a teaser website that you can check out (which mainly showcases the teaser poster above), as well as Luck’s personal BLOG for more updates on the film’s progress.
No tellin’ if this will rock us as hard as GRINDHOUSE, or if it’ll even see the light of day, but the prospect is good, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and our eyes peeled for more updates on DEATH WORLD!!!
