New Halloween Stills

With the release date coming closer, and THE LEGION OF MICHAEL getting into gear (read about that HERE), it’s no wonder that Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN is popping into 5th gear when it comes to marketing. Over the weekend we heard about some possible HALLOWEEN sequel news (Check It), and today we have a slew of new images of our favorite Mike, cutting shite up the only way he knows how.

The boys at BD scored the three new images, and as you can see above, it also may be one of the coolest Myers’ shots we’ve seen yet! I think if the camera panned down a bit, you’d see a big ol’ kitchen knife sticking out of Pumpkinhead’s chest. He’s even rockin’ the side-head look made famous in the ORIGINAL.

There’s a part of me that really wants to hate this movie because it’s essentially a remake, yet everytime I see images like this… well, it makes me actually wanna check it out! Seriously, if they would have named it HALLOWEEN 9, or HALLOWEEN THE PREQUEL or something like that, I think more people would be ‘ok’ that this happening. Plus, Zombie hasn’t let us down yet, and I don’t think he’d start with this one (er, at least I hope)! To check out the other images, click HERE, and get ready for HALLOWEEN in theaters everywhere August 31st.
