New Han Solo set-photo finds Donald Glover aboard the Millennium Falcon

Lando Han Solo Ron Howard Star Wars

It came as a bit of a surprise when Phil Lord and Christopher Miller departed the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM with months of principal photography under their belts, but Lucasfilm/Disney were quick to task Ron Howard with taking over the film. Howard has been at work on the troubled STAR WARS spin-off for a few weeks now, and he seems to be having quite a lot of fun with the film, frequently posting brief teases from the set including costumes and a certain beloved walking carpet. Howard's latest tease shows the director lining up a shot on his monitor, but it's what's on the monitor which we're the most interested in.

It may be small and it may be blurry, but it appears to be our first look at Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, and aboard the Millennium Falcon no less. Here's a slightly larger view so we can enjoy all twenty pixels together. Click to embiggen.

It could very well change, but the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM is still scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release.
