New Haunting Poster

We got the new poster for this summer’s THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE-like scary true story AN AMERICAN HAUNTING today, and boy is it creepy. I mean, whoa- based on the poster alone, I’d say this movie is gonna be pretty sweet.

The short story goes like this: Between the years 1818-1820, the Bell Family of Red River, Tennessee was visited by an unknown presence that haunted the family and eventually ended up causing the death of one its members. This is their story. It’s also the same story that the recently announced Reese Witherspoon horror flick OUR FAMILY TROUBLES is going to be based around.

HAUNTING stars classic actors Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek, who’s scary in everything she’s done since CARRIE launched her career back in 1976 (wow, 30 years ago….). Those two actors alone would have me on board, and as it’s based on truth, the story is that much creepier.
