Wow, here’s a flick that I hadn’t been paying much mind to that suddenly looks very appealing. A well-cut trailer can have that effect I guess, but the movie itself looks right up the alley of any psychological horror fan.

It’s called HEARTLESS about a young man with a large heart-shaped birthmark on his face who finds himself confronting demons on the streets of East London. While that synopsis may not exactly be a ground-breaker, the trailer sells me big time.

HEARTLESS comes from British screenwriter/author Philip Ridley and stars Jim Sturgess, Clemence Poesy (pictured below), Noel Clarke, Eddie Marsan, Luke Treadaway and Timothy Spall It will be in UK cinemas on Friday MAY 21 and on DVD, Blu-ray and all other formats on Monday MAY 24. No word yet when we’ll be seeing this sucker in the states, but I do hope it’s sooner rather than later.
