Just last week we caught the first look at the trailer for Platinum Dune’s remake of THE HITCHER, starring Sean Bean, Sophia Bush and Zack Knighton. Today we scored the new trailer in glorious QuickTime format, along with a slew of new images from the film!
While the trailer is a bit confusing at times, I found it f*cking awesome- because one of the shots in the trailer was filmed on the day I visited the set back in July, so it’s kind of cool to see it here. I was there, man! Other than that, you can tell what a difficult movie it is to market without giving away the whole thing- it’ll be interesting to see if people who don’t know anything about the original will actually be enticed into seeing this one.
The new images we have to check out aren’t half bad either, as anything with Bush in it (ha!) is generally pretty awesome. And say what you will, but Bean is looking mighty badass as John Ryder- while he’s no Rutger Hauer, he sure does have the right look!
