The last we heard from CARRIERS we were given a glimpse at the film’s trailer and the official site (peep that shit HERE). But today is a new day, and here we have the brand new German poster from the film!
I’m diggin’ the simplicity, I’m diggin’ the look in this chick’s eyes beneath that face mask of hers, I’m diggin’ the dusty feel, and if I could read German, I’d probably dig the tagline as well. Awesomesauce is what they cooked up here, and I couldn’t be happier.
Directed by Àlex and David Pastor and starring Chris Pine, Piper Perabo (below), Dale Malley, Christopher Meloni, Lou Taylor Pucci, Kiernan Shipka, and Emily VanCamp, CARRIES goes like this: A deadly virus has spread across the globe. Contagion is everywhere, no one is safe and no one can be trusted. Four young attractive people race through the back roads of the American West to the pounding beat of a vacation soundtrack. Their aim is to retreat to secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of Mexico, where they could peacefully wait out the pandemic and survive the apocalyptic disease.
You gotta love the emphasis that this film has about “four young attractive people,” because you know what… that really f*cking matters! To the whole story and everything. The fact that they’re attractive and not butt ugly… that shit means something, yo! Not sure what it means exactly, but something’s there, I’m sure of it.
Word on the street is CARRIERS hits theaters September 4th… I’m guessing that’s a limited release.
