New Jason art!

In less than one year, that really pissed-off goalie, Jason Voorhees, will be hacking to a theater near you in an all-new, refurbished, rebooted re-imagining. Looking to CASH IN on the same success that Mr. Zombie had with Mr. Meyers last year, New Line Cinema and “remake-happy” Platinum Dunes are pulling out all the stops to make sure this Camp Counselor Disembowler is bigger and bloodier than ever!

On a positive note, Bloody-Disgusting just recently visited the Dunes’ production offices and got a sneak peak at some concept art for Jason’s re-imagined look as well as the film’s possible first poster, and apparently what was seen so far was a “pretty rad close-up of Jason’s face and a full body shot.” You can read more here.

Not much more detail is given, but fans are assured that they won’t be disappointed. We’ll see about that when the flick, directed by Texas Chainsaw remake maestro Marcus Nispel, becomes splattered across the big screen on Friday, February the 13th 2009.

Elisha Cuthbert wasn’t in any Friday the 13th’s. Anyone have a problem with posting this pic? Didn’t think so.
