In addition to Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silveman) returning for the WRECK-IT RALPH sequel, the follow-up to Disney's 2012 smash-hit will find the pixelated BFF duo reunited with with Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer) and Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch). A new synopsis for INCREDIBLES 2 was recently posted. You can read what the sequel will be all about below:

Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in "Incredibles 2" – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life/ It's a tough transition for every one, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again – which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.

For MARY POPPINS RETURNS, which is to be set in a Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane (Emily Mortimer) and Michael Banks (Ben Whishaw), along with Michael's three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. The film will also see stars such as Dick Van Dyke, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, and Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda joining the cast for a rousing bit of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious fun! MARY POPPINS RETURNS is expected to umbrella glide into theaters on Christmas Day of this year.

On the Marvel end of the spectrum, ANT-MAN AND THE WASP will arrive as the sequel to Peyton Reed's 2015 surprise superhero smash hit. Once again directed by Reed, the follow-up finds Scott Lang engaged in a balancing act of being both a superhero and a father, As Scott learns to cope with the circumstances of his new dual-life, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past. Paul Rudd will return as Scott Lang while Evangeline Lilly is on board to suit up as Haope van Dyne a.k.a. The Wasp. Joining the film's size-altering heroes are Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, as well as stars Michael Pena, Laurence Fishburn, Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins, and Judy Greer. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP will buzz into theaters beginning on July 6th.

I don't know about you, but I think 2018 is going to be a mighty fine year for movies! These four films are just the tip of the iceberg, after all, as plenty of other cinematic marvels are scheduled to drift our way throughout the next twelve months.
