A new poster for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is on deck and ready to leap into action! Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) stands tall and ready to exit a perfectly good airplane into the greater Washington D.C. area in this new one-sheet that highlights the "man out of time" in his singular world, rocking some red, white, and blue and ready for action.

Sound off for equipment check!:

Here's the synopsis:

Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

In addition to this latest poster comes the news that the teaser trailer for the sequel will be hitting in two days and you can't bet your movie-loving ass that we'll be all over that shit like white on rice. Personally speaking, this is THE movie to see for 2014. As someone who has read the Captain America comics for more than 20 years I'm just happy to see him on the big screen, but adapting Ed Brubaker's Winter Soldier storyline is like icing on the cake.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Toby Jones, Hayley Atwell, and Robert Redford hits on April 4, 2014.
