Really hard to believe it’s been 18 months…yes, since March of 2010…that we’ve heard anything from Shaun Robert Smith’s Nazi-zombie flick THE 4TH REICH. At the time, the film was being made when others like DEAD SNOW and OUTPOST were in vogue, so I’m not sure the market has died down or if major distributions issues are the case for the film stalling. Either, we’re damn stoked a new poster and fresh still from the film have been developed.
With Jason Flemyng, Sean Pertwee, Doug Bradley, Tom Savini, Axelle Carolyn (below), Craig Conway, Sebastian Street, Simon Bamford, Jay Sutherland, Patrick Toomey, and Clayton Fussell – THE 4TH REICH is set:
During the early hours of June 6th 1944, as a bloody but victorious offensive took place in occupied Western Europe that would claim thousands of lives. Codenamed ‘Operation Overlord’ the armies of the combined allied forces would begin their long push to Berlin, with the aim of bringing down the despised Nazi regime. But the chilling realities of Hitler’s true intentions are exposed, to create a force that can never be beaten, a 4th Reich – The New World Order. A team of Nazi doctors and scientists were charged with generating a superior race. Their experiments and research would produce unspeakable evil and change the face of humanity forever.
