The last time we wrote about Mike Klassen’s supernatural horror joint ABOLITION was in September of ’10, when we broke some exclusive images from the film. Fast forward some 14 months and what do we have? A newly cut trailer and promo poster for the film, both of which are currently making the rounds at the AFM. Get a dose below!

With Caroline Williams, Reggie Bannister, Elissa Dowling (below) and Andrew Roth:

ABOLITION draws from horror and specifically, the supernatural side of the genre. The film is filled with vibrant, real characters and has a strong dramatic element. It asks the question: What if your next door neighbor was the end of the world? The journey we go on is with Joshua, a down and out janitor, and we follow him through his discovery and acceptance of this task. Director, Mike Klassen says “My hope is that if Taxi Driver and The Exorcist had a baby, that baby would be Abolition.”

ABOLITION, a Canadian production, looks to lock some distribution sales at the market this month. Hopefully the result will yield us a release date. And soon.
