I’m frankly a bit surprised we haven’t seen a couple more trailers for PRINCE OF PERSIA at this point, as it’s coming out in a little over two months, but this new featurette from IGN, filled with a decent amount of new footage, will have to do for now.
It has interviews with the cast and crew, and it reminded me that Alfred Molina is in this and that Gemma Arterton is super hot. Because that slipped my mind.
They talk about balancing Morocco’s heat with its local beauty, and how they actually built a pretty massive set for the film, which you might have assumed was going to be mostly CGI.
I’m still unsure of how I feel that PRINCE OF PERSIA is the video game franchise that Hollywood has poured a bunch of money into for the first time, but I do hope it turns out to be worthwhile and sparks a trend in a genre.
