Holy shite! I'm watching Todd McFarlane's live Facebook post right now and he is literally announcing that his new SPAWN movie will be produced by Blumhouse! Yes, he seems excited as hell about the whole thing and Kevin Smith is standing over his shoulder the whole time.
Say what you may about Blumhouse if Todd McFarlane is as excited as this, then I'm all in and excited as well. Blumhouse seems the exact right place for a horror movie version of the classic character and the freedom the studio hands out to filmmakers is unbeatable so more power to you, McFarlane!
