Warner Bros. has announced release dates for a bunch of their upcoming films! Let's start with the big one (in my opinion): P.T. Anderson's INHERENT VICE. His adaptation of the Thomas Pynchon novel will hit theaters on December 12th, 2014. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon and Jena Malone, and will open against Ridley Scott's EXODUS with Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton, and the live-action adaptation PADDINGTON starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman.

The big screen version of ENTOURAGE will be released on June 12th, 2015. All of the original cast members will be back, and the film will also star Haley Joel Osment and Billy Bob Thornton. The script comes from series creator Doug Ellin (who is also directing), which is said to be set six months after the series' end.

The Nancy Meyers (IT'S COMPLICATED, THE HOLIDAY) comedy THE INTERN will open on September 25, 2015. The film stars Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, and is about a founder of a fashion website who joins her company's Senior Intern Program, and ends up being paired with a widower who use to own his own business.

The sequel to last year's THE CONJURING is set to scare audiences on October 23, 2015. THE CONJURING 2 will be released a week after Guillermo Del Toro's CRIMSON PEAK featuring Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam and Jessica Chastain. Stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will both reprise their roles from the original for the sequel.

The comedy MEAN MOMS doesn't have a cast yet, but Warner Bros. must be pretty confident in the film to give it a great summer release date. The movie from director Beth McCarthy-Miller (30 ROCK, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) will be in theaters on May 8th, 2015, and is about competitive parents in the suburbs.

HOW TO BE SINGLE is the first rom-com set to open Valentine's Day weekend 2016, but it's not the only movie being released on that date. Alex Proyas' GODS OF EGYPT is also scheduled to open, as well as Universal's Untitled Pets Project.

Speaking of untitled things, an Untitled New Line Horror Film will debut October 3rd, 2014, two weeks before Universal's DRACULA UNTOLD (October 17th), and three weeks before Paramount's PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 (October 24th), so if you want to get spooked in theaters for Halloween this year, it looks like you're going to have a few options.
