I’ve never really bought Angelina Jolie as an action superstar. The TOMB RAIDER movies were mainly limp and nothing she’s done since then has really impressed me. But I’ve gotta say, I’m kinda digging what’s going on here in SALT. The blonde wig is really distracting so I have this feeling for the first half of the movie, I’ll be tapping my feet impatiently until we get to the black hair. And I’m not sure exactly why she so quickly transforms from nervous/worried Evelyn Salt to bad-ass I-look-like-I’m-having-fun Salt. Those hesitations aside, it looks like a pretty solid action-thriller. You can check it out below or head to Apple to see it in HD.
