The new Scream movie (read our review HERE) just reached theatres last Friday, but Amazon is already accepting pre-orders for the physical media releases of the movie, as well as the 4K UHD digital release! Release dates have not been announced for any of these and we don’t know anything about the special features that may or may not be included, but if that information is irrelevant to you the Scream (2022) DVD can be pre-ordered HERE, you can get the Blu-ray HERE, and the 4K UHD disc is HERE. The 4K UHD digital version can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK.

Scream (2022) will also be receiving a double feature release where it’s packaged with the original Scream from 1996. You can get the double feature on Blu-ray HERE and on 4K UHD at THIS LINK.

The new Scream is a “legacy-quel” or “requel” from Ready or Not (watch it HERE) directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The screenplay was written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Vanderbilt also produced the film for Project X Entertainment, alongside Paul Neinstein and William Sherak. Chad Villella, Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Ron Lynch, Cathy Konrad, and Marianne Maddalena serve as executive producers alongside original Scream writer Kevin Williamson.

The film has the following synopsis:

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

You can read our set visit interview with the directors at THIS LINK, and our set visit interview with cast members HERE.

Returning franchise stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette are joined in the cast by Scream 4‘s Marley Shelton and franchise newcomers Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Kyle Gallner, and Sonia Ammar.

Here’s some of the placeholder art on Amazon that reminds us the movie is still playing on the big screen:
