Take one Martin Scorsese directing one Leonardo DiCaprio, and you have a recipe for something awesome. The two have collaborated a number of times, and each time they’ve f*ckin’ rocked the house down. Their upcoming flick’s a step into our genre with SHUTTER ISLAND, and I can’t wait to see the final product with each and every new trailer that’s released.
Speaking of which, a third trailer for the film has debuted over at SpikeTV, which you can check out below. Same creepy vibe with the whack-job inmates, same creepy insane-asylum on a creepy island, but a little more creepy shite into the psyche of DiCaprio’s character. Dude has a seriously bad trip once entering this island, yo!
While I should be concerned this was pushed from October to February, I still have faith that the Scorsese / DiCaprio duo can do no wrong. I just hope they don’t let me down. SHUTTER ISLAND hits theaters everywhere February 19, 2010.
