New Sleuth poster

JoBloJoBlo

Based on the new SLEUTH poster , you’d think that Kenneth Branagh and Harold Pinter were both starring in the movie, alongside Michael Caine and Jude Law. But you’d be mistaken, because the two British legends are the director and writer respectively. I suppose the studio was so proud of their distinguished British creative team, that they felt all four deserved equal billing. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.

Although the film is a “remake” of the 1972 film of the same name, apparently Pinter’s screenplay offers an entirely fresh take on the matters at hand. Caine originally played Milo Tindle, the role Law is playing now, a young man who matches wits with the husband of the woman he’s sleeping with. The film is out in limited on October 12th, and if the quote on top of the poster is any indication, this one’s gonna be a masterpiece. Click to see the whole thing.
