With the recent craze of paranormal flicks coming at us from every direction it should come as no surprise to anyone that I’m here today to tell you all about yet another supernatural romp we’re in store for. Now like most of the other releases recently this new project is seemingly looking at a small budget with lots of scares. Oh I know what you want… Details! Right? Right. Check it.
According to Variety writer/director/producer Anthony DiBlasi is looking to direct the supernatural thriller CASSADAGA for PoileyWood Entertainment. The film comes from a script by Bruce Wood and already has a cast that includes Kelen Coleman, Kevin Alejandro and Louise Fletcher. Wood will be producing alongside his partner Scott Poiley. Here’s the rundown:
CASSADAGA centers on a deaf girl who attempts to contact her late sister’s spirit during a seance but instead attracts the avenging ghost of a murdered woman. The film is set in Cassadaga, Fla. — known as the psychic capital of America.
So what do you guys think? This one actually have potential or should we go ahead and toss this in the pile with all those other paranormal wannabes? Personally I’m going to wait until we see more from this project before I start judging but you’re more than welcome to spit some bullets below about what you think of CASSADAGA! As always as soon as we hear more on the film we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you.
