New UK art for vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows

Monsters of the bloodsucking variety are shaking up the genre as filmmakers like Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi continue to think outside of the box when approaching a story centered on the oldest of monsters—vampires! Their horror-comedy, WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS, was recently picked up for US distribution by The Orchard and Unison Films, and now we have some new UK art to share with you guys. Dig it below!

The synopsis:

Follow the lives of Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon (Jonathan Brugh), and Vladislav (Jemaine Clement) – three flatmates who are just trying to get by and overcome life's obstacles-like being immortal vampires who must feast on human blood. Hundreds of years old, the vampires are finding that beyond sunlight catastrophes, hitting the main artery, and not being able to get a sense of their wardrobe without a reflection-modern society has them struggling with the mundane like paying rent, keeping up with the chore wheel, trying to get into nightclubs, and overcoming flatmate conflicts.

WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is still waiting for a release date in the States. It stars Clement, Waititi, Jonathon Brugh, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, and Stu Rutherford.
