New trailer for Tinker Tailor Solider Spy goes cloak and dagger

JoBloJoBlo

It’s hard to imagine that TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY will not be an amazing film. For starters, just look at the cast which includes Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, John Hurt, Stephen Graham and Kathy Burke. And they’re all under the direction of Tomas Alfredson or LET THE RIGHT ONE IN fame.

If that’s not enough for you? Well then check out this new trailer. It gives a little more info than the first spot we saw, and though it’s a bit hard to follow at times, it still looks pretty excellent. Here’s the official plot to clear a few things up.

“The man he knew as “Control” is dead, and the young Turks who forced him out now run the Circus. But George Smiley isn’t quite ready for retirement-especially when a pretty, would-be defector surfaces with a shocking accusation: a Soviet mole has penetrated the highest level of British Intelligence. Relying only on his wits and a small, loyal cadre, Smiley traces the breach back to Karla-his Moscow Centre nemesis-and sets a trap to catch the traitor.”
