New trailer released for Brandon Cronenberg’s body horror film Possessor

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

POSSESSOR, a new body horror film from writer/director Brandon Cronenberg (son of body horror master David Cronenberg), is set to reach select theatres and drive-ins on October 9th, with a Digital and VOD release to follow on November 6th… and distributor NEON wants you to know that the movie is going to be "uncut" / "not modified from its original version" when it arrives. They really get that point across in the newly released trailer, embedded above.

Starring Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, POSSESSOR is "an arresting sci-fi thriller" about

elite, corporate assassin Tasya Vos. Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.

The film was produced by Niv Fichman, Fraser Ash, Kevin Krikst, and Andy Starke.

Brandon Cronenberg previously directed the 2012 film ANTIVIRAL, which you can watch at THIS LINK.
