In anticipation of the new trailer premiere next Monday, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has yet another Instagram trailer tease to get you amped up. Of course, at this point I think we've all had enough teasing and are ready for the real deal. The film was rated as the most anticipated summer movie in a poll over at Rotten Tomatoes and has certainly had steady buzz since its announcement. Can the film match the hype?

Here's the tease:

Here's the synopsis:

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

With a massive cast, time-travel elements, and hopefully some badass Sentinel action, this certainly has the potential to be the best X-MEN yet. There are definitely doubters, especially those who aren't fans of director Bryan Singer, but it's hard to deny his dedication to the franchise, even if some don't agree with his choices. I fall in the middle on the franchise as a whole, but this new entry feels more akin to the X-Men of the comics and my fingers are crossed for a good show.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, starring everybody, hits theaters on May 23, 2014.
