New Trend? Babies. Here comes the Look Who’s Talking remake

JoBloJoBlo

Yesterday I was all like, “LOOK WHO’S TALKING is the only baby movie we need”.

Well, I guess we need two of them.

After news of the E*Trade baby film, Neal Moritz (I AM LEGEND) decided to break his silence on the baby movie he’s producing a remake of, you guessed it, LOOK WHO’S TALKING.

The original film was directed by Amy Heckerling and was released in 1989. It was about accountant Mollie (Kirstie Alley) who gets knocked up by one her much older clients, Albert (George Segal). Mollie thinks that Albert is going to be with her and take care of the baby. However, the guy constantly cheats and Mollie decides to move on. On the way to the hospital, she meets James (John Travolta), a nice enough cab driver that she later falls for. Until she finally falls for James, Mollie’s talking baby Mikey (voiced by Bruce Willis) is trying to find his ideal match for her.

No director or screenwriter has been chosen for the project.

Seriously, I get that remakes are bound to happen, but it seems like that’s all we hear about these days.
