Will you be tuning in for “The Walking Dead’ season finale this Sunday night? If so, you’re in for a special treat as a brand new TV spot for Fede Alvarez’s upcoming remake of EVIL DEAD will be unleashed upon us. The spot has a groovy introduction from Alvarez and original EVIL DEAD star and remake producer Bruce “The Chin” Campbell and if you just can’t wait to see it on Sunday (and really, who would want to wait it out?), you can check this badboy out below!
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
Directed by Fede Alvarez, EVIL DEAD stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore and Jessica Lucas. The film has been rated R for “strong bloody violence and gore, some sexual content and language. Look for it in theatres on April 5th, 2013.
