New UK Maniac trailer puts brutality on display

The marketing for Franck Khalfoun‘s remake of MANIAC has been in overkill lately, with at least two trailers (check ’em out HERE and HERE) and a new quad poster hitting the web over the past few months, and even though we still haven’t gotten word on a North American release date we now have another trailer for you to check out. Just ahead of the films UK release next month we have a look at a short-and-sweet trailer for the Elijah Wood-starring gore pic which you can check out below.

Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt. Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill.

Also starring Nora Arnezeder and written by Alexandre Aja, C.A. Rosenberg, and Grégory Levasseur, MANIAC hits UK theaters on March 15th.
