Nicolas Winding Refn’s I Walk With the Dead finds a writer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

So, Nicolas Winding Refn (DRIVE) is developing an all-female horror flick titled I WALK WITH THE DEAD? Now this is the kind of news you want to start your week off with! Playwright Polly Stenham recently told The Standard, "He’s got a lot of stick for doing films some people think are violently misogynistic. So he approached me with the idea of doing something different.” One thing I've always dug about Refn's work is that he's not one to shy away from violence, so hopefully we'll be getting plenty of the red stuff with I WALK WITH THE DEAD.

Right now the news is still pretty fresh so the details are slim; what we do know, however, is that I WALK WITH THE DEAD is being described as an all-female horror flick with DRIVE's Carey Mulligan (below) rumored to star. And when Stehham was asked if the film was going be blood-splattered or more of a psychological thriller he said, "It’s going to have a bit of everything." That's good enough for us!

I wish we had more to tell you folks, but unfortunately that's all we've got for now so stay tuned!
