Night/Creeps DVD cover

I will continue to praise Fred Dekker’s NIGHT OF THE CREEPS until the undead-slug-in-the-brain cows come home. It is one of my all-time favorite horror movies. And hell f*cking yeah, I’m pleased as shit that the flick is finally coming to DVD this October 27th and will fit oh-so nicely in my Halloween Horror Movie Watch-A-Thon.

So, do you guys remember a little while back when Mr. Jared P. told you guys that Amazon was letting YOU pick the DVD cover that CREEPS would don upon its release? Well, apparently the results are in because we have ourselves the winner up top on the right. Honestly, I didn’t care too much for any of the three choices, but I do feel that the one that won was the best choice. I still say all they needed was a big close-up of Atkins and one of his signature quotes from the movie, but that’s me.

Actually, the contest may have been a little contrived because it appears that the Blu-Ray copy of NOTC was also slapped with another one of the cover choices (perhaps the runner up?). Regardless, get your cash and credit cards ready for Tuesday, October 27th. Or just preorder the darn thing right HERE.

Love this pic of Jill Whitlow’s stems.
