Some good news for all the eager NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake fans out there. The flick has just wrapped! That means we’re one giant step closer to catching hotties Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena (below), Bobbi Sue Luthor, and Tiffany Shepis in all their glory up on the big screen! I can’t friggin’ wait!
The news came from DEMONS’s production blog over at Shock Till You Drop where director, Adam Gierasch, just posted up some interesting info on the project! Here’s a look at exactly what he wrote:
So DEMONS is done shooting. It was a long and sometimes very difficult process. We had a lot of stuff to shoot in a limited amount of time (isn’t it always that way?). But the good news is that, from the stuff I’ve seen cut together, it looks pretty damn cool. My DP, Yaron Levy, was awesome and he worked his ass off. The demon makeup looks great, and we got a couple of good gore scenes, too. The actors did exceptionally well, especially considering that there was a lot of running, falling, exploding squibs, and stabs (not to mention a tube of lipstick). I should be able to have a trailer for you guys pretty soon.
Holy shit! A trailer coming soon! My lipstick-free nipples just became erect! Speaking of which, I’m pleased as hell that they’re including an homage to that scene. I just can’t believe how close we’re getting to DEMONS’s release date of February 2009. You can bet your ass I’ll be keeping my eyes out for that trailer.
In addition to the lovely ladies mentioned above, the remake also stars Edward Furlong, Michael Coppon, Simone Bargetze, and original DEMONS alum, Linnea Quigley!
