Nightmare on Elm Street: Kylie Jenner announces Elm Street cosmetics collection

For more than a decade, I successfully managed to avoid seeing a single episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (and Jenners) or any of its spin-offs. News about the various family members has been impossible to avoid, though… and now it’s getting mixed in with my horror news. Kylie Jenner has announced that she will be releasing an officially licensed Nightmare on Elm Street cosmetics collection called Kylie X Nightmare on Elm Street on October 12th.

The collection will be available to purchase at KylieCosmetics.com starting at 6pm Eastern on October 12th.

Promoting the Kylie X Nightmare on Elm Street collection by wearing an outfit inspired by genre icon Freddy Krueger, Jenner revealed that the collection will include (with thanks to Allure):

– A Lip Lacquer Trio in tubes that look blood-splattered. There’s the nude-pink Only a Dream, peachy-red Elm Street, and mauve-brick Never Sleep Again.

– The Pressed Powder Palette, which contains 12 pans of matte and shimmery neutral and red-toned eye-shadow shades, not to mention a dark teal shade called Gonna Get You.

– Pre-cut falsh eyelashes

– Lip and Cheek Jelly Stain

Images of Jenner in her Freddy outfit and the cosmetics that will be part of the collection can be seen below. Apparently Jenner collections tend to sell out quickly, so I hope that the Kylie X Nightmare on Elm Street collection will end up in the hands of a lot of horror fans, although for the most part it’s probably going to be snatched up by people who are just buying it because it’s a Kylie Jenner product. Even then, at least it will put some Nightmare on Elm Street representation in homes of people all over the world.

Now when can we get a new Elm Street movie, preferably with Robert Englund playing Freddy Krueger one last time?
