Ninja trailer

I’ve always been kind of a ninja nut, so it’s great to see the sneaky death-dealers making a resurgence. Besides Team Wachowskis’ upcoming NINJA ASSASSIN, we’ve also got some stealthy carnage courtesy of martial arts whirlwind Scott Adkins in NINJA.

The plot breakdown: “A westerner named Casey, studying Ninjutsu in Japan, is asked by the Sensei to return to New York to protect the legendary Yoroi Bitsu, an armored chest that contains the weapons of the last Koga Ninja.” The flick looks stacked with shadowy badass action (and elicits fond Cannon/Golan-Globus memories) — check out the trailer below.

You’ve probably seen Adkins whether you realized it or not — his work was on display in movies like THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, UNLEASHED and X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE (as the climactic Deadpool). Witness him rehearsing for that mutant showdown in the second clip, showing off some impressive moves. See more HERE and at his fansite.
