The remake craze is straight up outta control, so when it takes a hit, no matter how small or large or crazy, I for one stand up and cheer! Here’s one for the little guy (that little guy being me)!


Remake in question: THE CHANGELING, which originally starred George C. Scott, who moves into a house- haunted by the ghost of a child who’s really pissed off.


The remake was slated to be directed by original director Peter Medak, and according to The Horror Channel, he’s left the project entirely, and Rogue Pictures is currently on the search for a replacement.


No word on why he left, or when they plan on replacing him, but one thing’s for sure: this will delay this remake from hitting theaters for at least a little while. Of course, without the original mind behind this flick, it will undoubtedly suck balls. Damn.
