No One Will Save You clips offer a creepy preview of Kaitlyn Dever, Brian Duffield alien invasion thriller

A couple clips show creepy scenes from the alien invasion thriller No One Will Save You, directed by Brian Duffield, starring Kaitlyn Dever

The Hulu streaming service will be releasing writer/director Brian Duffield’s alien invasion psychological thriller No One Will Save You, which stars Kaitlyn Dever of Booksmart (watch it HERE), on September 22nd – and with just a couple days to go until we reach that date, a couple clips from the film have arrived online to give a creepy preview of what Duffield has in store for us with this one. One clip can be seen at the top of this article and another can be found at the bottom.

No One Will Save You will be available to watch exclusively through Hulu in the U.S. It will be streaming on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ in all other territories.

Duffield previously wrote The Babysitter, Underwater, and Love and Monstersand made his directorial debut with Spontaneous. The story he crafted for this film introduces Brynn Adams (Dever), a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up—until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders. What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past

Duffield had this to say about No One Will Save You: “I wanted the movie to take the lead of a small intimate character study and drop an alien invasion on top of them. The end of the world won’t only be for those that are ready for it, and the idea of an alien movie rudely bursting the bubble our character has spent years building and cultivating felt like a unique way to tell a favorite story. I think there’s a deeply buried feeling that every alien invasion movie could turn out to be true because they remain such an unknown in our daily lives. As our world careens more and more out of control, maybe there’s even a desire that there’s something out there smarter than us that can help put us on a more sane path. The aliens in No One Will Save You are superior to humans in every way, which makes Brynn and her surprising resistance somewhat puzzling to them. We were so excited to have Kaitlyn join us because—like Brynn being thrust into a whole new world—Kaitlyn had never done a movie so aggressively physical and sci-fi before. I think audiences will be blown away by how commanding Kaitlyn is on screen as she uses her solitude and silence to create a truly unique and complex character.

The writer/director produced the film alongside Star Thrower Entertainment’s Tim White, Trevor White, and Allan Mandelbaum. Dever served as executive producer with Joshua Throne.

I have enjoyed the other movies Duffield wrote and/or directed and was impressed by Dever’s work in Booksmart, so I will definitely be watching No One Will Save You. I was sold on this one even before I knew it was an alien invasion story.
