Nora-Jane Noone slips into The Deep End

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Just three days ago, we shared the news that The Royals actress Alexandra Park had signed on to star in the thriller THE DEEP END, the story of

two sisters who become trapped under the fiberglass cover of a public pool.

Now it appears that we know who will be playing Park's sister in this terrible situation, as Nora-Jane Noone, who genre fans may remember from her role in THE DESCENT, has also signed on to star in the film.

GAME OF ASSASSINS' Matt Eskandari is directing from a screenplay he wrote with Michael Hultquis. Mark Myers of Citizen Skull Productions is overseeing the film with executive producers Fernando Szew, Sharon Bordas, and Hannah Pillemer.

I'm curious to see just how the idea of two women trapped under a pool cover is going to be able to sustain a feature film, but this seems like it will be quite an opportunity for Park and Noone to show off their acting skills.
