Tobin Bell falls into The Deep End

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last week, actresses Alexandra Park and Nora-Jane Noone (pictured below) signed on to star in director Matt Eskandari's film THE DEEP END, which starts filming in Los Angeles today. Production is scheduled to last for three weeks.

Scripted by Eskandari and Michael Hultquist, THE DEEP END is about

two sisters who become trapped under the fiberglass cover of a public pool.

Those sisters are clearly not the only characters in the film, however, as it has now been announced that Park and Noone will be joined in the cast by Tobin Bell, best known for achieving modern horror icon status with his role as "Jigsaw" in the SAW franchise.

This is not a Lionsgate film, otherwise I'd be wondering if Bell's character might be purposely trapping the sisters in the pool so they can play out some kind of sick and twisted game.

Mark Myers of Citizen Skull is overseeing the production of THE DEEP END with executive producers Fernando Szew, Sharon Bordas, and Hannah Pillemer.
