Just last week we got word that Mary Kate Olsen landed a role in the upcoming CBS movie BEASTLY, co-starring Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens (check that shit out HERE). Today some news leaked out of The Hollywood Reporter that turned this project from being lame to less lame, as it appears that Neil Patrick Harris has joined the cast!
That’s right folks, the Unicorn riding NPH has been cast in BEASTLY as a blind tutor who helps and bonds with a teen who is shellshocked from being turned into a hideous young man. I guess NPH has to be blind in order to be this ugly dude’s friend, otherwise he’s probably run away screaming the kid’s sheer ugliness.
This flick still hits high on the retarded-meter for me, but then again, with NPH on board, it someone becomes less sucky. Maybe it’s that whole STARSHIP TROOPERS association, but NPH is just one cool motorskooter. And those HAROLD & KUMAR movies have a little to do with it, too.
