THE OBJECTIVE is the latest film from Dan Myrick, the co-director of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, and it’s making its way to a limited theatrical release on FEBRAUARY 6th. (As well as VIDEO ON DEMAND on the 4th.) Around that time, expect my review of the flick, which I saw a couple of months ago… Short review is – it’s certainly got its moments, but overall I was not blown away by it…

We’ve got a new trailer to show you – which you can see below – as well as a batch of new stills. AND the dang synopsis! You won’t really need my review after checking all this stuff out. Or see the movie…

The action takes place in a remote mountain region of Afghanistan, where a team of US Special Ops forces is dispatched with the ostensible orders of locating an influential Muslim cleric. While on the mission they find themselves lost in a Middle Eastern ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of ancient evil and faced with an enemy that none of them could ever have imagined.
