Earlier this week we brought you the news that "American Horror Story" star Taissa Farmiga had joined the already impressive cast of THE SACRAMENT director Ti West's next film, the revenge thriller IN A VALLEY OF VIOLENCE. Farmiga was the latest name to be announced for the project that stars Ethan Hawke and John Travolta, but now Deadline is reporting that another cutie has signed on for the genre feature.
Deadline reports that OCULUS star Karen Gillan has been tapped for the Blumhouse Productions feature, which is ramping up ahead of a late-June shoot.
Gillan is the second repeat Blumhouse actor to fill out the Valley cast, as Hawke starred in microbudget hits SINISTER and THE PURGE for producer Jason Blum‘s shingle. Gillan will play Ellen, the older sister to Farmiga’s character in this revenge Western. Together they run a hotel in the town where Hawke’s drifter seeks vengeance for the death of his best friend.
