MoviesOnline got some sweet info. from SATAN’S PLAYGROUND
director Dante Tomaselli today regarding his next project THE OCEAN.

What kind of info. you ask? Looks like Judith O’Dea is set to star in
the flick. Who’s Judith O’Dea you ask? Why, it’s Barbara from NIGHT OF
THE LIVING DEAD, of course! What a sweet score! Here’s what Tomaselli
had to say about his project thus far, and the casting of
O’Dea:

Well, it’s developing right now. It started out as a featured cameo
but it’s turning into one of the starring roles. Judith will play a scuba
diver who encounters supernatural mayhem. To be sure, somewhere in
there, I can’t help myself, there will be a nod to Night of the Living
Dead, with corpses rising out of the ocean…

The script is almost finished. I plan to shoot THE OCEAN in the fall.
Since it’s an independent film, the shooting schedule will probably
shift a bit. But you can be sure I will make this movie no matter what.
Every time I plan a feature, it happens. I focus on it like a laser beam.
I’m a slave to it. I feel like I’m pregnant and I give birth. I have
three babies. I’m on my fourth child.

You can tell Tomaselli loves making horror films, and that’s all
we can really ask for from a filmmaker. Plus, who isn’t excited about a
prospect of having frickin’ zombies rising out of the ocean! The
project sounds sweet, and I’m just dying to check it out- but the wait
is so long! His latest flick, SATAN’S PLAYGROUND, should be coming out
later this year.
